So Much To Say...

...and we could listen to him for hours (and do!). Campbell, like his mommy and daddy - is a big time talker. He has so much to say and his daddy and I hang on his every "word"!!!

America's Next Top Model is....

My first fashion spread in my favorite item of clothing...specially made for ME by my Nonni's hands and heart. It keeps me warm inside and out...just like my Nonni's hugs. I love her and my sweater soooo much! Thanks Nonni!!

A Trip to the Park...

to enjoy the sun...

(thanks again Nonni!)

with my daddy, Monica and Cooper...

I LIKE SPRING!!!

Doctor in the House...

Meet Dr. Thant our wonderful pediatrician! Campbell really likes him - and so do Taf and I. And talk about convenient, he is the lobby of our building! That's my kind of commute, especially when it is snowing outside. All I have to do is make sure Campbell is dressed and push the 1st floor button in the elevator. Simple city. Talk about lucky. We figure the only other time in our life when our doctor will live in our building is if Taf and I end up in a retirement home. Blessing counted!

Yes, this has been a difficult week having to go back to work and leave our little boy, but I quickly forgot about the heartache of leaving him the second I walked through our door and saw his precious face. He is talking more than ever and opening his month when being fed by spoon. Each day brings new and exciting memories and tomorrow our little angel turns three months old. I've loved every minute I've shared with him and look forward to each minute ahead...I just don't want them to pass so quickly. We love you Camp - and couldn't be more proud or excited about everything you are!

Newest member of our family...

This is Monica - Campbells nanny and the newest member of our family! We could not be more excited to have her in our lives and truly believe she was heaven sent. Campbell absolutely loves her - and so do we! She will be with us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - and has given both Taf and I the peace of mind we needed to be able to leave Campbell and go to work. Yes, we both wish it weren't necessary to do so - but since it is we couldn't feel more happy or at ease leaving him in her loving arms. The title nanny doesn't do her justice, answered prayer does.

Love Ourselves Some GiGi and Grandpa Bob!!!

First of the year started off wonderfully with a visit from Gigi and Grandpa Bob! They were the first family to meet Campbell - and he/we had such a fabulous time. While Grandpa Bob made daily trips into the extremely cold and exciting Manhattan (returning to the city where he was raised), Gigi and mommy spent each day loving on Campbell and anxiously waiting for grandpa to return with details from that days adventures. Each day was relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. We didn't want to say goodbye - but cannot wait til July when we get to see them again in NH! Thanks Gigi and Grandpa Bob - we love you!

Back To Work I Go...

After nearly 3 months of maternity leave, today was the day I had to return to work. It also officially kicked off Manly Mondays where Campbell and daddy spend the day together hanging out. They had a great time eating, playing and taking trips outside to walk Cooper and enjoy the beautiful weather. Me, I spent the day trying to catch up and not miss them. Returning home to their smiling faces and open arms made my heart explode...reminding me once again, just how truly blessed I am to have my guys!

Week of Firsts!!!

Not only did you have your first visit from your Aunt Shannon, eat your first cereal, take your first bus and subway ride this week - but you "coo'd" so loud you scared yourself and today attended your first parade. The weather (a beautiful 52 degrees) couldn't have been more perfect for the St. Patty's Day Parade on Skillman (one block from our home). You got your first glimpse of Mayor Mike Bloomberg (see second pic, Bloomie second person from left carrying sign), Irish Dancers and men in skirts (kilts) - just to name a few. The drums were loud and the bagpipes high pitched - but you still enjoyed them and went to sleep immediately once both had passed. We all had a fun time and couldn't help but be excited that Spring weather is finally here!

REALLY LOVE ourselves some Nonni and Poppi...

Nonni and Poppi came to visit their newest (and 11th) grandchild the second week of January! We loved EVERY minute. Nonni fibbed and said she was coming alone. When I opened the door to the elevator to grab her upon arrival I immediately thought "who is the man in the elevator that looks like Poppi"? It was the greatest suprise. We had the time of our lives! (Nonni and Poppi: HUGE THANK YOU again for everything you did for our son and our home...your presence is felt -and missed - daily).
